User Responsibilities
Account Requirements

Content Standards
- Submit only original content that you own

- Follow community guidelines and battle etiquette
Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Submit copyrighted material without permission
- Use hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language
- Manipulate or artificially enhance audio recordings
- Create multiple accounts or engage in vote manipulation
- Attempt to circumvent platform security or moderation
- Engage in commercial activities without authorization
- Upload content containing beats or background music
Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create. By uploading content, you grant VerseWars a license to display, distribute, and use your content as necessary to operate the platform.
Platform Content
VerseWars owns or licenses all platform features, design elements, and non-user-generated content. These are protected by intellectual property laws.
Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right to:

- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations

Battle Rules and Judging
A Cappella Requirement
All battle submissions must be purely vocal without instrumental backing, beats, or artificial enhancement.
Community Voting
Battles are judged by community voting based on lyrical content, flow, creativity, and delivery. Vote manipulation is strictly prohibited.
Disclaimers and Limitations
VerseWars comes "as is" - no guarantees. We ain't responsible for:
- User-generated content or community interactions
- Technical issues or service interruptions
- Loss of data or content
- Disputes between users
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases, though certain provisions (intellectual property, disclaimers) survive termination.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through platform notifications. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
